Random assignment script
I wrote this script in hopes that it would be a useful tool for some of Aeclectic's reading circles (see tarotforum.net) when random assignment of reading partners, or groups, is needed. Of course you may put it to other uses, if you can think of any (I can't right now). :-)
It works as follows:
You type or paste your list of names into the appropriate form field, these must be separated by line breaks only. If you want them in groups of a certain number, or as partners, enter your group size into the indicated field; if omitted, the size will be chosen randomly for each group. I.e. with a list of 30 names you might end up with three people reading for themselves, four people in pairs, two groups of five, and the remaining thirteen in a big circle.
